Job Description:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in the daily lives of our clients. Your responsibilities will include, however, not limited to:

1. Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
2. Supporting clients with mobility aids and equipment, as well as assisting with physical exercises.
3. Providing emotional support and companionship to clients.
4. Helping clients with household tasks, meal preparation, and medication administration.
5. Implementing individualized care plans and goals, as directed by healthcare professionals.
6. Monitoring and reporting on clients’ progress and any changes in their condition.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in disability support or a related field is preferred.
2. Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to assist others.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
5. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and evenings if required.
6. Certificate III or IV in Disability Support (or equivalent qualification) desirable.
7. Current Disability Worker Screening Card (Yellow Card)
8. Driver’s Licence.
9. Own a Car with a valid comprehensive car insurance.
10. Current Police Check Certificate.
11. Working rights to work in Australia.
